Same as kolle's Restart Cinnamon applet but using a symbolic panel icon which means the icon blends in smoothly with whatever panel colour scheme you're using. A click on the icon restarts Cinnamon (basically "Alt+F2 + r + enter" for the mouse massive!).

    Yep not a biggie to click on better settings troubleshoot restart cinnamon. But get annoying after a bit. As have a icon font issue sometimes booting up or logging in. And volume,settings, etc icons are invisible and fonts on taskbar & calendar are missing letters. Needing a restart. This makes it so much easier. Thanks and resides on my bar until cinnamon has all the bugs ironed out. .
