A "Favorites" menu, with all your favorite Applications. 

1.2.0 - Added a settings menu on right click to make everything simpler. No Schema required. (May 31st)
1.1.3 - Added Tooltips that display either the App title (if labels are disabled) or the app description (if labels are enabled). Setting in Applet.js to disable all tooltips. (May 27th)
1.1.2 - Fixed the width issue in certain themes A LITTLE. (May 18th)
1.1.1 - Fixed the menu so it looks more compact. Cleaner imo. (STILL May 15)
1.1.0 - Added Labels, And added options in the applet.js file, lines 22-28.
1.0.1 - Bugfix  (May 15)
1.0.0 - Initial Release (only Icon for each favorite, no options.)

I would say I've gotten better at coding then when cinnamon first came out. I am willing to try to make anything, but I doubt I can make too complicated stuff.

    I like the simplicity of it. I think it is good we try and move away from these sliding menus and complicated hover effects in menus. Keep it simple and useful, imo. In reality one or two popup menus with apps might be more useful in the long run. Look what happened to Unity -- looks great but it struggles in usability. Your favorites menu on my system looks a little off. It has a wide border around it: http://markbokil.com/images/screenshots/favorites.png

    mbokil, what theme are you using?

    I am using Graybiance. It was the theme. When I changed it back to Cinnamon it looked okay. I guess some of these themes have bugs in them.

    @bownz - check looking glass. I was getting an error for this.placesButton and this._refreshApps. I commented them out and it went away, app works without them. I noticed it since my applet context menus disappeared.

    mbokil, I wanna say that the themes you have used have a set in minimum width which would force a blank spot to appear to the right of it.
