Love your Linux, Feel at Home, Get things Done!
Wow, that's an awesome theme.
A must have theme.
YEAH!!!! very nice
okay, this is genius. best theme for cinnamon. if i could i would give it 6 stars
great theme awesome work :))
what icon theme you using with it i am wondering
I love it! I was wondering about the on/off buttons. In the screenshot they look different than when I use the theme on my computer. Cool theme, tho=)
Added your theme to Cinnamon Extras, debimint, hope that's cool with you: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=208&t=98316&start=120
Wow.. that's pretty cool!
Really nice theme, can anyone recommend a good gtk and metacity to match this theme, im trying out a minted version of ambiance which is nice
yeah, that's great. could you tell which icons you used (on the screen)?
Amazing theme, I just have one small "bug" encountered.
If you split your panel in top and bottom so that you have your windows list at the bottom the tool tip will show at the top.
This is a piece of art.
EDIT: after restarting the tool tip behavior was no longer present so now I am twice as happy as before
@ paulo_cv. thanks for the "piece of art" comment. means a lot.
Thank you for this fantastic theme!
Sometimes ago (before LMDE UP5) my VOID theme had a white-silver bar in the middle, which I loved a lot. But recently as you've uploaded in you screenshot, the middle white-silver bar is gone, so window icons (which are placed in the middle) are shown in a transparent, not clear form, which is not good for navigation. What happened?
How can we bring back VOID middle white ribbon?
P.S. I'm using cinnamon 1.4
@ digitism. Void never had a middle silver bar. perhaps that was a mod of some sort by someone. you have to place your applets inside either the left or right panel. if you'd like the middle silver bar you'd have to A) modify the .css file or B) i can send/email you a moded .css file.
@ digitism. actually you might be thinking about the theme Spearmint Leaf. its a collaboration theme between razor and myself. here is the link http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/themes/view/115
I'll give you 5 stars to encourage you to work on it for better and faster than it is :)
Keep your awesome work (^ - ^)
very different, polished theme. keep up the good work. 5 stars
i would also like if you could do this theme with inverted colors - i generally prefer darker tones on my screen/background
yeah i also would like a black version
I'd like a black version. Very very good theme!!
I'm not quite understanding these themes, when I install them the only thing that changes is my menu bar. There are no panels, no background pic change.. just the menu bar.
Very educational this theme! I'll enjoy looking through the file cinnamon.css I'm sure***. It does feel a bit too distinctive in a way - it's like a cocktail of 'proofs of concept'. The menu gradient is impressive, convincingly metallic, overall very far away from the often naive-, scruffy or garish-looking attempts at design that can put of potential Linux users.
***It's Saturday night, why not...
@ registereduser - u sound like a noob
@unclematerial - thanks, please rate.
@ the rest of you. A dark version of this theme is in the works and will be up shortly.
One little quibble: when using http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/applets/view/16 , at least with the dark theme, the font for the inactive window counts is black or very dark grey.
For instance: Right now, the window count for Firefox is "1", and shows up white. The other window counts are "1" or "2", and they're nearly invisible against the background. They look more like graphical glitches than numbers, but you can just barely make out numerals.
A fix for this (light grey font?) would be greatly appreciated.
@UUVRkfJiz0yl- it might be an applet problem. However I did try and install the applet to see what I could do, but unfortunately it wasn't working on my system. I am on cinnamon 1.6
Brilliant theme. I love the subtle mint logo branding concept. its the first cinnamon theme i find that i truly like.
Dark theme needs more love tho. ;)
Since you have just taken the Baldr buttons and switches, a little mention of Baldr would be the decent thing to do, probably.
Light Void is cool)
Very very nice, my only nit pick is the text for inactive windows in the window list is too dark and its hard to read,
I couldn't use it in Fedora18. I put them in /usr/share/themes . It'll be very nice of you to offer some help.
I've just tested it on different machines running Ubuntu and Mint. Everything seems to be working fine. Make sure you have Cinnamon 1.6. I dont know what could be causing the problem, it could be a Fedora issue perhaps..
@debimint: It works for me as well in Mint. Seems a fedora issue. Thanks.
Awsome! I'm new to cinnamon and this is a must have theme.
Awesome theme, would like to see a translucent menu though.
...at least for the Dark version, I'll just set it myself meanwhile I guess.
@debimint Just to tell you the themes are working fine in fedora too since last few days. Thanks.
@bondhuPaul thanks for the update.
@masternetra I will be updating this theme to include both translucent white and dark themes.
@Everyone I just want to say thanks for rating this theme. It has become one of the highest rated themes for cinnamon. Something that I would never have imagined. For a short time IT WAS the highest rated theme, but however, there seems to be some salty MOFO around here that keeps downgrading my themes. I don't know why they would do that. Anyhow, all I ask from you, in return, is to please rate this theme, so it can once again take its place on top, as theme of themes. And remember, download and enjoy
Just found my new favorite Cinnamon theme.
Thanks a lot debimint.
BTW, it seems to work fine with Cinnamon 1.4 too (still haven't upgraded yet).
This is my favorite desktop theme by far! 5 stars.
Indeed! well done!
Wow... wow... wow !!!
5 starts (+).
It is default for me since first sight.
And thanks for the Author, it will remain default after update to Linux Mint 15 with Cinnamon 1.8
Thanks a lot!
