    Hi Satya I really like this theme. Thank you for making it and sharing it. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is that the active window on the window list panel is also green, and, to me, it seems to be like an alert. i've tried to change the css file but i dont know if im doint it right. i've change: .window-list-item-box:active , .window-list-item-box:checked, .window-list-item-box:focus { background-gradient-direction: vertical; background-gradient-start: rgba(170,240,120,0.72); background-gradient-end: rgba(135,210,69,0.85); box-shadow: inset 0px 1px 3px 0px rgba(255,255,255,0.3); border-radius: 0px; } to .window-list-item-box:active { background-gradient-direction: vertical; background-gradient-start: rgba(255,255,255,0.72); background-gradient-end: rgba(255,255,255,0.85); box-shadow: inset 0px 1px 3px 0px rgba(255,255,255,0.3); border-radius: 0px; } .window-list-item-box:checked, .window-list-item-box:focus { background-gradient-direction: vertical; background-gradient-start: rgba(170,240,120,0.72); background-gradient-end: rgba(135,210,69,0.85); box-shadow: inset 0px 1px 3px 0px rgba(255,255,255,0.3); border-radius: 0px; } i suposse it is not right since i see no change.. what should i do?

    May I suggest more visual separation betwee tabs/buttons in the task bar? Nightlife Graphite does this well.

    Beautiful theme! I noticed I didn't have ~/.themes in Mint 14 and I was having the same problems as @pulkit so I clicked "Type a file name" and wrote the location ~/.themes and it automatically made the folder and extracted it there. It's working flawlessly.

  6. satya164 says:

    1 year ago

    @pulkit extract it to ~/.themes

    bimsebasse : Thank you very much ! It's working fine now !

    emmanuel, applet icon closeness is set as padding-left and padding-right in .applet-box

  10. emmanuel says:

    1 year ago

    @satya164 In fact you need to change : #panelRight:ltr { padding-left: 0px; spacing: 0px; <------------ } #panelRight:rtl { padding-right: 0px; spacing: 0px; <----------------- } But negative values are not allowed... So I already have the minimal spacing, but would have love to add some negative spacing to have the icons closer from each others...

  11. satya164 says:

    @emmanuel .notification-applet-padding ?

    Nice work for the 1.6 version. ;) Which parameter should I change to control the spacing between icons in the sys tray ? Thanks !

    @emmanuel UP4 released? When?

  15. emmanuel says:

    1 year ago

    Still the best theme but still obliged to change a lot of think inside for my LMDE + UP4.... In this version, the icons in the notification tray are to far from each others. That was better in the first release. I'm lucky, I still have this version and I had some code line from the 2.0 version. I have now the close button for desktop and I change the add button for desktop to see it working. Now everything is perfect but that was not the case this morning... Thanks for the theme anyway ;)

    Hey, now it work super fast, you're code cleaning or removing the shadows help a lot! Thank you!

  17. satya164 says:

    1 year ago

    @Oyabunbaba If it really lags for you, I would suggest you edit the cinnamon.css and remove the text-shadow property near the beginning.

  18. satya164 says:

    1 year ago

    @Oyabunbaba Sorry, but the delay you are talking about is present in the default theme also. A slight delay happens when I click the menu for first time or after a long time. Besides colour schemes and stuff, Minty doesn't have a huge difference from the default theme.

  19. Oyabunbaba says:

    1 year ago

    I check also the Glacier theme - the blue one based on Minty, it is same bug, i think i can call it bug because in Main menu i have to wait even 1 second for button to come/appear on position i want to click, very not smooth.

  20. Oyabunbaba says:

    1 year ago

    Thx for blue one but i don't know what happen, the menu responsiveness become very poor. The theme become noticeably slower since mint 13 default installation, so probably last or last 2 updates have to do with it. I restart computer but is the same. Something is wrong up there.

  21. satya164 says:

    1 year ago

    So, a bluish one :)

  22. satya164 says:

    @Oyabunbaba Thanks, will look into those matters :)

    Aha and one more thing why i like this theme: Coz have this transparent look but the green color of active button/panel/windows is plain green not transition which make it fast, i noticed that when theme use transition color for active buttons it's really slow.

  24. Oyabunbaba says:

    Good that this theme have white fonts, not grey like in eleganse on calendar, thats why i choose this one. Beside... Maybe some shadow above/below bar like on Eleganse or Elementary theme, it will look better. This is cute theme, my main theme right now, can you make the calendar a bit bigger? And fonts one pt bigger? Thank you

  25. bimsebasse says:

    Something wrong with Cinnamon under Mint Debian then, the theme works fine in Mint 12, Ubuntu 12.04 and fedora 16

  26. emmanuel says:

    1 year ago

    Bimsebasse : I don't have updated the theme since it's installation after UP4. The reason : after the update it's worst. I have the close button but not the add desktop and my notification zone is destroyed. So I stay with the first version...

  27. dalcde says:

    @roger64 sed might work if he uses consistent color (ie he uses the same shade of green every time)

  28. bimsebasse says:

    1 year ago

    Roger, there is no easy way or a single command to change all the green to e.g. blue, it involves editing the cinnamon.css file and many but not all relevant sections can be changed with a seek/replace. satya has suggested I'd do a Minty colour pack and it's on the todo list :o)

    Hi This theme is my favourite because of its dark panel and mostly its care for detail. So now, every selection (applet, menu, etc...) has a green background. That's OK and it fits to the theme name. Question: If I wish to change the colour of the background of selected items, say to pink or red or whatever, could you tell me how to do it? Is there an easy way to do it? Could you give us the command?

    emmanuel, have you updated the theme? Have you installed it from PPA or manually?

    Hello ! Nice theme, but in expose mode, can't see the add desktop button and the delete desktop too... The tray icons are small, but I will try the tip described by KT-88 Thanks !

    Pretty nice, fella; the only thing I don't like all that much (although I dont't find it annoying either) is the green-ish glow of the selected panel applets. It is way too bright for the theme since it is overall very transparent. Apart from that, one hell of a theme! Thank you for your hard, good work! Cheers. Danko.

    Still hope Cinnamon headquarters will adopt Minty as the default theme, it's brilliant - the only thing I don't like about Minty is that I can't create a nice stylish, dark, semi-transparent theme for Cinnamon because, well, already been done with this :o)

    Absolutely brilliant. A great theme that brings Isadora to mind, for me.

    When Cinnamon moved to version 1.3 the padding between the applets (calendar, sound, network, battery) is very small (1px). So I modified it to be similar to the Cinnamon 1.2. Here is the code that should be changed in the file: cinnamon.css - On line 2019 the padding should be set to be bigger - like this: .applet-box { margin: 1px; padding: 1px 5px 1px 5px; } Hope this helps..

    A Great Theme with Cinnamon! I Just wanted it a little more tranparent: sudo gedit /usr/share/themes/Minty/cinnamon/cinnamon.css And changed -arrow-background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.85); =================================================================== * PopupMenu (popupMenu.js) * ===================================================================*/ .popup-menu-boxpointer { -arrow-border-radius: 5px; -arrow-background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.65);

    Amazing theme, love it! I have it setup just the way I want, and the slight transparency without taking it over the top ties it all together. Keep up the amazing work, hope you continue to update and support this theme as Cinnamon advances more and more.
