This is relatively light and transparent theme. This topic requires Cinnamon shell (> = 1.2).

Unpack the theme in ~ /.themes folder and look for the theme in Cinnamon Settings tool (Themes tab).

Now compatible with Cinnamon 1.4

GPL

Super... but the fonts and the default icons are to small on the panell.

    5 stars... anyway.

Agree with norbert on the icons/fonts being a bit small but the theme is very nice ;)

5 star from me!! Small fonts are nice too. Overall impression is of snappiness, precision.. yet there's a bit of fanciness using transitions and an interest design for the toggle widgets.. really cool theme!

Actually the icon size and the overall theme is great for my 15 inch laptop monitor. The other themes get alil too big on it.

Thank you very much for your comments. Font in mintMenu and panel is small. I will try to experiment with the font size

Awesome theme! Using it and having fun! Fonts and icons size fit my resolution perfectly. Way 2 go! P.S. I've noticed a weather indicator on your bottom panel. Could you tell me where can I install one? Thanx in advance.

Very slick and stylish theme. Backgrounds for system tray pop-ups are just transparent enough to not feel like it is intruding on my desktop workspace, and just dark enough to be able to read the information (e.g., Weather extension). 5 stars.

Hey there, everyone! I have come across a problem with this theme: it isn't fully compatible with Cinnamon 1.4. With the introduction of the new Expo workspace switcher, a user cannot simply add and subtract workspaces from the presented at default. For those of you who have recognized this problem also, never fear! I have a solution! First, move the two pictures "add-workspace.png" and "close-window.svg" to the unpacked theme location Glass-shell/cinnamon directory: cp /usr/share/cinnamon/theme/add-workspace.png ~/.themes/Glass-shell/cinnamon/ cp /usr/share/cinnamon/theme/close-window.svg ~/.themes/Glass-shell/cinnamon/ Second, open up the CSS file "cinnamon.css" and add the following code: .workspace-add-button { background-image: url("add-workspace.png"); height: 200px; width: 35px; } .workspace-add-button:hover { } .workspace-close-button { background-image: url("close-window.svg"); height: 34px; width: 34px; -cinnamon-close-overlap: 20px; } Finally, save the changes and restart Cinnamon. Congratulations! You can now successfully add and remove workspaces to your heart's content!

For the previous code in a prettier fashion, go to http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=208&t=99930

^^ This is still not the case, Glass-Shell is fully updated and has been for a long time. If you install a theme manually, you need to-re-download every time the theme is updated, your theme folder doesn't update itself. You have an older version of glass-shell and you need to download it again to have the latest version.
