Very nice theme. I have created a .deb package to make installation of this theme easy. Link:

@ JimBrown For fonts- Double click .otf then click install (Window will go away when installed). Go to Cinnamon Settings -> Fonts there in the list should be your . Select it and you should see appropriate fonts applied. Worse case log out and in after changing fonts. ~my2cents...

@ bimsebasse. Thanks for the heads up on the window list. I don't use window list, so errors sometimes slips by me. I'm sorry you deleted your holo theme. You should upload it again. People like and need variety.

You've made me delete the Holo port, debimint - I think this is better in pretty much every way. Have you tried creating the blue line in the focused window-list item with an inset shadow instead of border-bottom? The border pushes the text up so that icon and window title text are high up in the panel. I know the window list is a pain in the **** and one of the hardest things to work with in a theme.

The menu bar text goes almost invisible with the gtk theme included here, its black text on a black background

I'm not so sure having difficult to see text is a good idea for commonly used things like menus. Either way, I've gone in and fixed it in the CSS, and I'm really liking it now. *especially* Roboto. Changed to 5 stars :D

@ carneeki. thanks i designed the cinnamon them. the gtk was designed by DevianTN7k1. He gave me permission to include it in the package. i think the black on dark gray was meant so you dont see the text. thanks anyway please rate.

@debimint I love the theme! I'd like to give it 5 stars, but there's one or two nagging bits, I'm not sure if it's just on my comp or they're known issues. 1) Menus (File, Edit, View etc) in applications like Terminal and Nemo are black text on dark grey until you hover over them, then it is light grey on dark grey (with blue underline). The black text is not easily readable. 2) In Eclipse I get large blue rectangles and squares around buttons like minimize/maximize, however when I select other GTK+ themes, they aren't there. Despite these two issues, I haven't been this excited about a theme since I got ICS on my phone!

by the way once I install it, I log on with it nothing appears. I can barely open terminal just to logout and switch to ubuntu unity. :( Help please!

really nice metacity/window theme. looks nice with the theme

I would like to try this but don't know how to get it working. 1) Have installed a "JellBean" folder to usr/share/themes/ and copied the cinnamon folder+contents there 2) Have copied the contents of Robo_FONTS to a .fonts folder in my home folder. 3) Logged out and back in. When I click the theme nothing changes. Other themes are changing fine though. Any ideas where I am going wrong?

Very nice, do you have a matching metacity/window theme?

  20. bimsebasse says:

Didn't mean to come off nagging, very well done theme :o)

  21. debimint says:

@bimsebasse thank you Mr.Critic. I'm going for the holo look and feel but in a way that is more aesthetically pleasing on a desktop.

Nice version but some elements are somewhat un-Holo, for instance Holo (the name of Android's default theme in ICS and JB) doesn't have shadows, one of its main characteristics is that it is "2D". Many things look better than in the other Cinnamon Holo theme, the coloured boxpointer is a nice touch, the line on top of modals as well, the submenus are better done but I think you should change the window/workspace-close buttons and the add workspace button, they don't fit so well IMO.

Nice! Thanks Clem. I have a doubt, how can i install the icons theme, like in preview picture?

  24. debimint says:

Thanks Clem for helping me iron out all the wrinkles.

  25. clem says:

Thanks debimint. You're almost there. In Scale, window labels don't look good and the close button is different than in Expo. In the menu the highlight on applications is slightly bigger than the normal button which makes the list move when you hover items.

  26. debimint says:

Thanks Clem, i'll get right on it.

Brilliant theme. Giving 5 stars for the rating, but it's missing a couple of things (tooltips support, checkboxes etc..) to pass certification for Cinnamon 1.6. Please check and for more details.
