PDF COMPRESSOR

Compresses the images in the selected PDF files.

DESCRIPTION

This action compresses the images in the selected PDF files and saves it with suffix ".compressed". This is useful for PDF files with large embedded images, e.g. to send them via email.

It is intentionally kept simple for quick usage.

DEPENDENCIES

The following programs must be installed and available:

python3, python3-urllib3, ghostscript for PDF processing

Is there a way to make it work in a folder that has an apostrophe in its name? (I realized too late that it could cause problems in Linux, but that folder is tied to a whole lot of other things and can't easily be changed.)
