Simply restart Cinnamon with one click.

I am creating two icon themes.
I found that you defined the icon in the panel (metadata.json) as system-restart-panel.svg.
But whatever I do I can not seem to get my own icon in the panel.
I am at a loss. Maybe you can shed some light on this issue.
Working on linux mint 18 beta cinnamon.

What's the underlying command that this is running to perform the restart?
Thanks. My menu was getting wider and wider as I was testing one theme after another. This applet allow me to restart Cinnamon (and reinstate the width of the menu) easily without having to logout.
Works like a charm! Thanx 4 the work

Thanks. Perfect when I'm theming.
I don't get all the people asking about something else than the default direct restart. This is just perfect, it is perfectly as it needs to be. Personally, I use bimsebasse's modification, but since it forks from this changing the icon alone, I have to say this is just perfect. 5 stars.

Thanks. Nice one for development. How about symbolic icon "view-refresh-symbolic"
Good job, I like this applet as it allows me to restart Cinnamon without Alt-F2 R good job!
Omg, thank you so much for that.. as you can imagine I restart Cinnamon ALL THE TIME (after each code change really). I was thinking of writing something like this :)
thanks for the hint, i changed the icon to "reload" which should be present in almoast every icon theme
I like it with one click.
But there is the same problem like with other applets:
when then icon is not found, the cinnamon settings don't work.
I replaced the icon with "emblem-system".
how about using the right click menu instead ?
tried, but it seems that cinnamon does not provide a doubel-click mouse-event for applets
Make it a double-click, then.
imo that would miss the target of that applet to restart with ONE click instead of making more steps (ie pressing alt+f2, type r and hit enter)
Could you ,please, make it ask confirmation to restart cinnamon?
