Hello, my Canon MG4250 is only recognized as a USB printer. I set it up on WLan and from CUPS at: http://localhost:631/printers/ two variants are listed as network printers. However, the WLan network printers are not displayed in the applet. System is LinuxMint 22 Cinnamon

Is there a way to get the Printers applet to display the ink levels (Printers->Properties->Ink/Toner Levels) from my HP printer? Perhaps there is a package that will do this that I don't have installed? The HP applet that (I guess) comes with hplip will show ink levels, but doesn't always display in the panel correctly.

Sometimes Printers stop responding. It seems it lost connection with CUPS server or part of CUPS just died. Looks like a system issue because there are no printing notifications. Console "sudo systemctl restart cups.service" is the fastest way to make it work again.

You're welcome, but no changes were made! I was just thinking about installing 3.4 to test compatibility. It seems I don't need to.
