PTT applet and microphone indicator for Cinnamon environemt.

Installation

Copy files/ptt@thbemme to .local/share/cinnamon/applets/, activate through the Applet Menu.

It's a good applet, BUT, I don't think it will work properly if you pipe your hardware mic input through a virtual mic like EasyEffects and use that as your default input device.

PSA for other people that try to use this. My system started crashing consistently and upon reviewing the things I installed that day, I've determined that this was what was causing me headaches. Crashes stopped as soon as I uninstalled this applet. Fedora 39 + Cinnamon 6.0.4
