Notifications Enhanced applet

This applet is a fork of the original Notification applet developed for the Cinnamon Desktop, enhanced with additional options for easier notification management.

Features

New panel icon when Do Not Disturb mode is enabled.
Updated menu label when Do Not Disturb mode is active.
Toggle switch in the menu to easily enable or disable notifications.
Tooltip now displays the number of notifications.
New keyboard shortcut to enable or disable notifications.
Middle-click on a notification to dismiss it.

⚠️ To avoid code conflicts (as both applets share parts of the same code), please remove the vanilla Notification applet before installing Notifications Enhanced, then restart Cinnamon.

LM22.2 can be done with Notification settings then uncheck Enable Notifications. just a click more and less reasources.

Oh, so this feature only exists in LM22.2’s notification settings? Jokes aside, if you find this applet useless because you prefer going into the notification settings every time, good for you. But there’s no need for this kind of comment, since it’s neither constructive nor relevant

Good job, recommanded. I'm using it on LM22.1, LMDE6 and manjaro and your applet works fine. Install this applet, remove vanilla applet and restart cinnamon to avoid code conflicts, that all.

Seems like a very useful addition. Unfortunately, on my end on Mint 22 it is very buggy and sometimes not working at all. Notifications are not shown, not the count and not in the menu. The counter is only working as expected, when the native notifications applet is present. The notifications show up in the menu only sometimes. Could not reproduce when, but most of the time they don't show up.

mint 22, the popup menu isn't traslated. solution was: chmod +x $HOME/.local/share/cinnamon/applets/notifications-enhanced@hilyxx/po/*.po log out and log in Thank you for your very usefull applet
