looks like it is half-baked, eg menus without buttons on nemo , some buttons are broken on prefs too.. tested with LMDE 5

when i use jet gray controls, i lose my wallpaper, any other choice and i get my desktop wallpaper back cinnamon 18.2 http://i.imgur.com/zK6troV.png

One suggestion. Open window icon in the panel should indicate that it's opened and not minimized.
